Right on! The leaked new track by the Cars, Sad Song… As a benchmark, think Blondie’s  Maria from their 1999 reunion record No Exit - a genuine resumption of their old groove, signature sound intact, playing in their most beloved mode. But like Maria a touch of flatness, an ever so slight sag, is evident. A quibble though. So, so good to hear new work from such ace old cloth. New album, Move Like This, will be out in May.
