Sorry/Change For The Same, two songs shoved together, by Skewbald/Grand Union, a short-lived post Minor Threat project with two names shoved together. If Egg Hunt (below) was a pristine take on the Minor Threat sound, this was an unbridled one. Everything is over the top - chunky, messy, smeary. Back in mid-80’s the existence of this band was the faintest rumor, vastly more discussed than actually heard. Pre-internet this kind of stuff seemed so mysterious, forever bordering on mythology. Anyway, it’s been out for a bit and it’s tops. Also, one of the two names, Grand Union, is especially nostalgic. Named after the grocery store chain that in my town bordered the high school, and whose back alley was the staging ground for all sorts of punky mischief…
